It is with great pride that I announce that I have accepted the role of Chairman at Coventry United Football Club.
Firstly, I want to extend my sincere gratitude to John Goodman and Nigel Ward for their dedication and hard work. I have so much respect for them for rescuing the club and bringing stability when it was required. I can’t speak highly enough of the time and effort that they and their families poured into the club along with Lee Davies – Vice Chair, and all of our volunteers who have been instrumental in bringing the club to where it stands today.
As we move forward, I’m excited to work closely with Hamad Al Salem, who will be playing a significant role as a major shareholder. Together, we are committed to ushering in a period of stability and growth for the club. Our focus will be on enhancing Coventry United’s standing in the local community and driving the club to achieve the heights we know it is capable of reaching.
I have the passion and desire to succeed; giving our fans what they deserve. I was previously involved in the set up and development of Mindful FA, a charity which, through football, supports mental health in the community. I also run a successful Haulage company. With my business skills, knowledge plus the love I have for the game, I firmly believe we have assembled the best team of individuals in key positions to realise the vision we all have for the club’s future, and together we will achieve the heights I know we are capable of.
The future of Coventry United is bright, and with the support of our fans, partners, and community, we are ready to take the club to new levels of success.
